This beautiful Kurdish Bidjar rug from the late 19th century in allover Herati pattern design with a dark blue field and a cream color border. The beautiful border with flower design “Gol Farang” (meaning foreign flowers in Persian) is in the tradition of French Aubusson carpets of the 17th century which the antique Bidjars are known for.
