A vintage Navajo rug is woven of native hand-spun wool in a Chinle Revival pattern. This style of Regional Rug began in the 1920s at Chinle, Arizona. A classic banded Chinle design. The Chinle Trading Post was established in the early 1880s and is located in the Canyon de Chelly area, of northeastern Arizona. Beautiful Navajo rug with an alternating light yellow and cream colors with repeating geometric pattern design.
