Unique and beautiful. This Bakhtiari rug from Western Persia is unique in that the rug uses only the natural wool and the original colors meaning that the wool was not dyed. It is beautiful in camelhair field color. The field contains designs in geometric forms within a diamond shape throughout. The natural wool colors (not dyed) are in antique white, black and brown. The border has floral designs set in a white color. The rug is very similar in colors and designs to the Turkish Oushak carpets from that period.
