Shirvan kilims from the southern Caucasus have become extremely collectible. Since Kilims are flatweaves (no pile), having one that is over 125 years in such a condition is extremely rare. The village weavers usually made these in two pieces and then sew them together. The combination of bright and beautiful colors in rows make this a breathtaking piece of art.
