The village of Serab in the Azerbaijan region of Northwest Persia is known for some of most sought after rugs. The production in the late 1800s was small but the use of camelhair in the rug has become the village’s signature. This grand runner with the use of the large repeated pattern in red, blue and cream design has a simple beauty and elegance.
