A beautiful Mahal Sultanabad rug from the late 1800s. A fine artisan workshop Persian rug from the late 19th century. The field is in a brick red color with large geometric forms throughout the field in colors of red, pink, green, blue, and yellow. The small central medallion makes a beautiful statement of the grandness of this fine weave carpet. The border is in dark blue/navy color. The Mahal Sultanabad rugs have become very popular with the interior design community because of their fine weave and beautiful design.
