This beautiful oversize Mahal Sultanabad carpet from the first quarter of the 1900s is in an allover design pattern. The primary field color is dark blue with a dark red border. small medallions scattered throughout the field are connected via curved lines. The Ziegler Mahal Sultandabad carpets woven in Persia from the mid-1800s to the first quarter of the 1900s and have become world renown and are very desirable because of their color scheme and open designs.
