Mahal Sultanabad
The antique Mahal Sultanabad rug from the early 20th century has an allover design that consists of large geometric forms in beautiful bright colors of red, blue, pink, green, brown, and yellow set in a brick red color field. The border also has geometric forms in similar colors in a dark blue background. The Ziegler Mahal Sultandabad carpets woven in Persia from the mid-1800s have become world-renowned and are very desirable because of their color scheme and open designs.
