Mahal Sultanabad
The Mahal Sultanabad carpet from the central region of Persia comes in an all-over design. The field is a rich red color with large scrolls reminiscent of the famous Sultanabad rug of the mid-1800s with large designs. The wide border in blue with large geometric design enhances the beauty of the rug. The Ziegler Mahal Sultandabad carpets woven in Persia from the mid-1800s have become world renown and are very desirable because of their color scheme and open designs.
