Kerman Lavar
A beautiful Kerman Lavar rug from the late 1800s. The rug has a cream or light yellow field and border-color with curvilinear designs in red, black, and brown colors. Lavar is a village near the city of Kerman on the edge of the great desert in South East Persia. Lavar carpets are world-renowned for their beauty in design and colors used which this carpet well represents. The carpet still retains its beauty even after over 120 years of use.
