A Heriz carpet from the village of Karajeh in the Azerbaijan region of the NW Persia. The beautiful rug is from the early 20th century. It has a rich red field color and a center medallion in white which makes the medallion stand out. The other colors include the beautiful shades of blue, green, pink, yellow, and red throughout the field and border.
