This extremely fine weave Farahan rug from Western Persia was weaved in the late 1800s. It has a “Herati” allover pattern with a dark blue field. The border is in beautiful “Farahan Pistachio” color. Although the rug is worn in some areas, the beauty of the design and fine colors are clearly visible.
