This Bidjar carpet comes in a Gol Farang which means “Foreign Flower” in Persian and is a variation on the French Aubusson design carpets that were picked up by the Persian weavers in 1800s. The design set in an “abrashed (variation in colors from the use of organic dyes)” blue field and a brick red color border. The carpet is beautiful and each flower comes in various shades of blue, red.
