Bidjar rug from the early 20th century in great condition with a full pile and no repairs. Bidjar rugs are considered the “iron rugs of Persia” because of the tight weave. Great Bidjars are almost twice as heavy as similar rugs because of the method of their weaving. This rug with a central medallion in white and corners and sides in white makes a powerful statement. The use of bright pink, yellow, blue and green in the field and border adds to the beauty of this rug.
