This beautiful Kurdish Bidjar rug from the late 19th century in allover Herati pattern design with a dark blue field and a cream color border. The beautiful border with flower design “Gol Farang” (meaning foreign flowers in Persian) is in the tradition of French Aubusson carpets of the 17th century.
