A true village woven masterpiece from the NW Persia. Bibikabad rugs from North-Western Persia are known for a large diamond medallion that covers a big portion of the field. This beautiful example comes with oversized multiple medallions in rust, blue, and cream colors with the design of vines and flowers. The main field color is blue with streaks of abrash blue throughout which is the result of the vegetable dyes and wool coloring which adds to the uniqueness and artistry of this rug. The main border is in cream color with geometric design throughout the border. There is a lot of beautiful green color used in the field and the borders which also adds to the beauty of the rug.
