Bakhtiari Bibibaft
This beautiful “Bibibaft” (grandmother’s weave) from the Bakhtiari tribe in Western Persia is from the early 1900s. The theme of the garden design in Bakhtiari rugs are well known and the “Bibibaft” is the most sought after in all Bakhtiari weavings. The range of the natural dye in bright colors in the field with a white center medallion makes this one of the most colorful and beautiful and desired rugs.
