Bakhtiari
The Bakhtiari wide runner is in “Gol Farang (Foreign Flower in Persian)” design. The Gol Farang was the impression that the Bakhtiari tribal weavers had of the French Aubusson rugs of the 1800s. The runner has a series of flower bouquets in a column set in a dark blue field. The profusion of brilliant colors of red, pink, yellow, blue, and green brings a sense of cheerfulness to the design. The runner has a beautiful white border framing the main design. Click here to see other Bakhtiari tribal rugs in our collection.
