A classic French Aubusson from the late 1700s. The unbelievably beautiful rug with a cream field that has the bouquet of roses in red and pink. The central medallion shows the two nest doves taking of unhatched eggs. The rug is in excellent condition and the colors have mellowed but brilliant hues. It is perfect for display on the floor in a bedroom for a library or as a tapestry on a large wall.
